Weather Situation
A strong cold front near the western border will move across Victoria on
Sunday. An associated low pressure system west of Tasmania will deepen and move
across Tasmania later on Sunday before moving northeastwards, reaching the
Tasman Sea on Monday. A weak ridge of high pressure will extend over the State
on Tuesday, then another cold front will cross the State on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday
Cloudy. Snow showers, tending to blizzard conditions at times. Isolated
thunderstorms with hail from the late morning until evening. Winds
northwesterly averaging 40 to 50 km/h, reaching 60 to 70 km/h at times this
morning then again tonight. Temperatures around 2 during the day.
